    "The amount of carbohydrate intake

required for optimal health in humans is

    unknown. Although the recommended

    dietary allowance for carbohydrate for

adults without diabetes (19 years and

older) is 130 g/day and is determined in

part by the brain’s requirement for glucose,

    this energy requirement can be

fulfilled by the body’s metabolic processes,

    which include glycogenolysis, gluconeogenesis

    (via metabolism of the

glycerol component of fat or gluconeogenic

    amino acids in protein), and/or

ketogenesis in the setting of very low

    dietary carbohydrate intake (49)."

The amount of carbohydrate intake for optimal health is zero,. so ,. they are still throwing in the distractory scarecrow, but,. they at least quote the physiology,. This is basically a legal document,.

In clearer words, diabetes is a manifestation of an insulin regulatory 'problem'. Chronic overload of the foods that stimulate high and chronic output of insulin is at its core. How to fatten a pig, cow, chicken, human, feed it grains, how to make them metabolically ill?? you do the math…

40 years of meds and T2D is still here. 3 months of no Carbs and little exercise, BOOM T2D gone. Hummm… Thank you Dr. John Bergman.

  9. Rob yN

Oh no, why no discussion of diet here? The cause of T2D.

  10. Max Power

Low carb or zero carb diet works very good to lower insulin levels in a person with T2D. I have seen people reverse diabetes in 3-6 months just by changing their diet…and it is FREE!
