Hi. I have type 2 diabetes. I also have chronic kidney disease and heart failure. I have hypothyroidism also. I had my thyroid killed off in 2001. It's a hard life. I have to live with my dad and stepmom. Thankfully they also have type 2 diabetes so we are all on a less carb diet. I also have to be on a kidney disease diet.

you should be on insulin, it's not a big deal, check out omnipod…there's no multiple daily injections

Thanks for sharing! I was just diagnosed back in October and I have been borderline Diabetic since I had my daughter 10 years ago. Diabetes runs strong in my family and for some reason, I thought I was invincible…never exercised and ate what I wanted…when I wanted. Out of nowhere, I became very thirsty I mean thirsty like you mentioned. I remember drinking like four sodas back to back…Urinating back to back and then (TMI) I got yeast infections over and over. Still didn't go to the doctor until I started having some terrible stomach problems. Instead of coming out with meds for my stomach I came out with Metformin and insulin…Blood Sugar was 350 and the next day I found out my A1C was 12.2. Mind you when I was tested I had nothing to eat since the day before and it was that high…350. Things are much better now but figuring out what to eat is like a science project…but I am not going to let this thing win!

So glad I found your channel. I'm on 2 insulins and have high blood pressure and meds aren't working. I'm gonna look at more of your videos to help me get diabetes free. Thank you for sharing 😊👍🥰❤️

What was your HBA1C back then And what is it now?

I just started metformin today as I was diagnosed yesterday…so I'm sad, upset, I don't know what to eat…I don't know what to do.

Can you build muscles after diabetic atrophy? I don't see any videos about this ..because I know high sugar makes the muscles become smaller.
