this is very helpful. i’m 5’4” and used to weight 130 and i used to think i was super enormous. when i look back at pictures i didn’t have a flat stomach but i was where i was supposed to be naturally, i never had to workout or diet i ate whatever i wanted and it was okay with me, until i had a baby. i lost some weight naturally after the baby buy 20 pounds extra stuck with me, and a year later i went on a 5 month trip to see my family and gained another 15 pounds, im 45 pounds wayyyy over weight and i’ve developed a larger appetite and i can’t blame anyone but myself. i have no self control what so ever. i’ve tried working out and eating right but i alwaus end up quitting. my goal is to be healthy again and in my BMI, once i get there i know that i can work on my dream body. this video helped a lot i really hope that i can move the emotional eating side of me and use logic to get to where i really want to be. i’m at the point where i don’t recognize myself and feel like i’ve let myself go, and i hate the feeling. i’m not even 21 yet and in my heart i really want to change for myself, my life is just starting and i don’t want to live the rest of it hating the way i look and feel. thank u so much, i hope i can do this ♥️♥️
I think that sometimes we can fall into unhealthy extreme thinking of logic > emotion which can also be a trap. Maybe there’s a way to go about food that isn’t glorifying a logical way of reasoning about it that seems healthier?

This is gold! I was on a very straight path with a great mindset for such a long time. Covid rolled around and I allowed myself that time to relax from my routine that I "wouldn't normally give myself" …. now here we are and that's my mindset now and I even forgot how I used to think when I was on the straight and narrow.
