Omg i was sick my whole pregnancy could hardly hold water. This was a nightmare for me, as soon as I smelled it 😢 I managed to drink most of it. Unfortunately didn’t hold it long enough and had to go back to retest lol

I had to do this when I was 16 to find out if I had insulin resistance. I had to wait longer in between tests though, and I do remember feeling light headed because I had to fast for the testing as well. I can imagine that it was worse with having a baby in the oven begging for food.

I have mine at 18 weeks due to PCOS and a history of GDM. With this pregnancy, I nearly passed out 40mins into the 2 hours 😅

I fainted when I had it done with my 1st child. Cause I had to fast and other I do not do well with needles

Ugh, I remember the glucose test. The thing that sucked for me was that I took it in one state, then moved to another state. They lost my test results, so I had to do it all over again. Turned out I had gestational diabetes.

Oh man the 3 hour test sucked lol. I was so hungry by the end LOL. Ironically I felt worse after the one hour than the three hour. I legit almost passed out after the first one.

Confused how did this go wrong?

I ended up throwing up the whole drink after I got my blood drawn. I had to stay at the place in case I got lightheaded which did happen. Apparently when you consume the drink there can be a spike in your blood sugar causing to to become tired and lightheaded. It was the longest hour ever. I’m so happy I passed the test cuz if I didn’t I would’ve ended up having to do the three hour test.

The clinic I went to messed up my glucose test, they only tested my blood at the beginning not in the middle not at the end so I had to come back a week later and do it again.

I chugged the whole bottle in one sitting, I was like “eww taste like college”

Ugh I don't miss that, having to do it again it makes me dread it, I felt sick, nauseous and just lightheaded.

I had to do this and they had trouble finding veins for all the blood tests. The last one they had to dig around in my arm and I could feel it and it made me throw up. Only time I threw up my entire pregnacy! It sucked

I absolutely hated this… The drink is absolutely disgusting 🤮🤮 it made me feel so poorly after. Headache for days
