1. Mac And Cheese
Starting off with the ultimate American comfort food, macaroni and cheese doesn’t just fill your heart but also your soul. Diabetics are recommended to avoid this because of the high salt content which makes the heart race at unhealthy levels. However, the healthier version of mac and cheese uses somewhat different ingredients without compromising taste.

2. Meatloaf
Meatloaf might have dipped in popularity but we can’t deny the fact this delicious dish is a comfort food for many Americans! With the world turning to healthier versions of literally everything, why should meatloaf be left behind?

3. Veggie Chili
Nothing beats a steaming hot bowl of veggie chili. Not only is it soul food, it’s loaded with vegetables which offer fiber and deliciousness that makes a hearty meal for the whole family. It is also a great weight loss meal because of all the protein and good fat.

4. Tacos
Wait…I don’t have to give up on tacos? Sweet! This healthy, low carb taco will come as a good news for every diabetic taco lover. Tacos have been called the worst food imaginable for diabetics. The saturated fat in meat raises cholesterol and promotes inflammation which puts diabetics at a risk of heart disease.

I can’t stop thanking and recommending Dr IGUDIA on YouTube to everyone who suffers from Diabetes disease because I was once suffering from it too, But with the help of Dr IGUDIA I was able to get rid of my diabetes totally with his herbs medication.

  2. Anniq

They should have said Diabetes type 2 both in the video and title since when they say that you have to give up sweets when you become diabetic is only for type 2 diabetes. People with type 1 diabetes can still eat sweets ( Not sugar soda ) but they just have to take a little more insulin, eating healthy is making it easier to control the blood sugar but that doesn't mean that it's necessary to cut out all sugar and carbohydrates. But since type 2 diabetes comes from unhealthy eating habits they would most likely need to cut out sugar.

  3. Sharon Mcqueen torres

Lots of physical activity?? For who 30 yr olds. Get real

  4. RogThePirate

I found that making a pizza with whole grain or protein-rich tortillas works very well. Results in an extremely thin crust (might want to pan-roast it from both sides for a minute or two so it's more crispy, although it does work without that), and choosing the right tortillas lets you control how much carbs/fiber it has. My go-to small meal version has about 300 calories and fairly low fat and carbs. Tastes great too.

  5. KKW

I like to buy the pasta with higher fiber than whole wheat. It doesn't really affect my BS.

  6. Godiva Nubian

Instead of using wheat pasta use Banza chickpea pasta it’s healthier and have more protein

  7. Earl Carlson

None of these choices are at all appealing.

  8. Rosie Dotz

Ceviche and jaiva are also great healthy and delicious

  9. Oriana Ann

Some of this was literally ridiculous. Granted, some is common sense but where the hell do you find a fried burger and whole wheat pasta can spike you as high as plain pasta.

  10. Eyes Like Mine Inc

    Perfect for Diabetes Awareness 2021!

  11. Salem Wolf4506

This is great, but I have one question: what burgers are you ordering that are breaded and deep fried????

  12. Osvaldo alvarez

Where in the hell do you eat burgers that they are DEEP FRIED ?????????

  13. Zachary Proctor

You lost me at deep-fried burger, I stopped the video. Were is a burger deep fried?

  14. Charles Craver

I like tacos but I like fajitas better and are probably better for us diabetics

  15. Sayanabho Chakrabarty

    That helps my father

  16. Vaashini Palanisamy

I always add mushrooms, carrots 🥕🥕🥕, corn 🌽🌽🌽 and cheese 🧀🧀🧀.

  17. bridgette Dawson

This needs to be clear, this pertains to type 2 diabetics mainly. My son is type 1 which is by far more serious then type 2, and this advice does not pertain to him so much. Plus he gets allot of excercise which helps significantly. Most type 2 diabetics need to stop with the sugar, fried food and bread overload and get exercise and it can be reversed. Which is not how it works for type 1.

  18. Sherry Allen

    This is the worst advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of us can’t eat salad because we don’t have teeth because of diabetes now I love salads but because I don’t have any taste I can’t eat salad like other people so what I do is I have my daughter make my salad much like a tabouli she puts my greens and my vegetables in a food processor and just pulse is it two or three times until it’s small enough for me to eat and it’s quite yummy and she makes all of my dressings from scratch and you can add anything to your salad just like you would if you had teeth cheese cranberries whatever

  21. Theresa Chiorazzi

Can t chew nuts I have no teeth that’s out the same for salads so anything soft is what it has to be.

  22. Usman Ali
